In a recent interview with CNN Business, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos announced plans to eventually give most of his $124 billion net worth not to people in need, but rather to globalist efforts to fight “global warming” and “climate change.”
When asked by CNN entertainment reporter Lauren Sanchez if he plans to give away his wealth “in his lifetime,” Bezos responded with, “Yeah, I do,” adding that he is right now “building the capacity to be able to give away this money.”
A bulk of the money Bezos plans to donate will go towards “fighting climate change,” he says, as well as “supporting people who can unify humanity in the face of deep social and political divisions.” (Related: Remember when the Bezos-owned Washington Post rag claimed that men can get pregnant?)
Bezos claims he cares deeply about the so-called “American Dream” and believes it “will be even more attainable in the future” if he funnels billions into climate cultism, which is one of the fastest growing religious cults in the world right now.
Thanks to the Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) scamdemic, Bezos and his Amazon empire raked in record profits. As small businesses were abolished through lockdowns and stay-at-home orders, Amazon siphoned all that lost business for itself.
As a result, Bezos is now the fourth richest man in the world, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index. And it just so happens that he is also a “green” adherent, having pledged in 2020 to fork over $10 billion to the so-called Bezos Earth Fund.
Many have accused the space alien-like Amazon icon of being a hypocrite, though, especially since he owns a 417-foot-long superyacht that guzzles lots of fossil fuels. That superyacht is so large, in fact, that one of The Netherlands’ oldest bridges has to be dismantled in order to allow its passage.
As expected, CNN‘s Sanchez made no mention whatsoever about Bezos’ superyacht because doing so would have quickly deconstructed his greenwashing narrative. Instead, Sanchez let Bezos pretend as though he wants to save the planet to enhance the American Dream.
When further asked if he believes the United States has entered a recession, Bezos was quick to deny that, stating, “I don’t know whether we’re technically in a recession. Economists argue over that, and they have certain technical definitions.”
Bezos did, however, admit that the economy is in really bad shape, suggesting that a recession could soon be on the way.
“What I can tell you is the economy does not look great right now,” he said. “Things are slowing down. You’re seeing layoffs in many, many sectors of the economy. People are slowing down. The probabilities say if we’re not in a recession right now, we’re likely to be in one very soon.”
Back in October, Bezos warned his more than five million Twitter followers to “batten down the hatches” in preparation for economic calamity, even though the Biden regime is insistent that everything is just fine.
As you may have seen, one of the benchmark definitions of what constitutes a recession was changed to help improve public approval of the Biden regime’s performance. Despite two consecutive quarters of falling GDP, which in the past would have automatically been dubbed a recession, the U.S. economy was ruled a-okay just to help Democrats “win” the midterm election.
As for Bezos’ donations to the climate cult, we will be interested to see what this entails and if the guy actually does donate most of his (ill-gotten) net worth to fighting global warming.
